John Jones

John "Mick" Michael Jones, 48, of Windsor Locks, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 11, 2025. He was born in Midwest City, Oklahoma on April 7, 1976, the son of the late John Wayne Jones and Sandra Lee (McCoart) Jones.
Mick was a resident of Windsor Locks for over 20 years and worked as an estimator in the construction industry. He was known for his strong work ethic, dedication to his craft and handyman services in the community.
In addition to his professional life, Mick had a passion for golf and spent many hours on the course with his son and MB buddies. He also had a deep love for collecting LEGOs, a hobby that brought him great joy and satisfaction. However, it was his family that meant the most to him. Mick cherished every moment spent with his loved ones and will be remembered for the warmth, love, and laughter he brought to their lives.
Mick is survived by his beloved partner, Jody Benton; his daughter, Kylie Jones; his son, Chase Jones; his stepdaughter, Halyn Valley; his brothers, James and Chuck Jones; his sister, Joanna Cordes; his many nieces and nephews, and his best friend Koji. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of life is planned for Saturday January 18th at The Grill at Copper Hill: 20 Copper Hill Road, East Granby, CT 06026. All are welcome to join any time between 12-4pm.
