OAK GROVE, LOUISIANA
Funeral service for John Kersh, age 93, will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 26th, 2025, at Cox Funeral Home with Bro. Jimbo Herring officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 until time of the service.
John is survived by his step daughter, Bev Neal and husband Howard of Oak Grove, Louisiana; step son, James Cook and wife Sharon of Cedar City, Utah; step daughter, Carolyn DeGuzman of Bossier, Louisiana; sister, Vera Trichell of Oak Grove, Louisiana; along with numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Edward Kersh and Mary Elizabeth Kersh; wife Lona Griffin Kersh; step son, Steve Griffin; fisrst wife, Lena McCown Kersh; brother, James Kersh, sister, Kathleen Kersh Donohue, and sister, Willie Mae Kersh.
Pallbearers are Charlie Chapman, Glen Chapman, Jerry Donohue, Leverle Donohue, and Justin Griffin.
