John Alan Linehan, age 62 of Cleburne, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2025. Known to family and friends as "Alan," he lived a life marked by kindness, joy, and a heart full of love.
Alan is survived by his father, John Henry Linehan of Cleburne; his brother, Daniel Linehan of Keene; his sister, Amy Wells of Joshua; and three beloved nephews, Gerald, Dakota, and Brandon. He was preceded in death by his cherished mother, Ada Linehan, whose memory he carried in his heart every day.
Despite the challenges he faced, Alan embraced life with a gentle spirit and an open heart. He never met a stranger and never made an enemy-a testament to his warm nature and easy smile. Alan found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. He adored his chickens, always had a pouch of chewing tobacco within reach, and never said no to an Oreo.
