John J. Liskowitz

John Jude Liskowitz of Manasquan, age 58, passed March 11, 2023, in Tampa FL surrounded by his loving family and friends. John with his gregarious nature was a larger-than-life personality with a tremendous sense of humor. He had a magnetic presence that attracted people to him wherever he went. His life was filled with adventure and new experiences while bringing his family and friends along his journey. He lit up a room with his warm and welcoming nature, smile and ability to connect with everyone he met. John was the eternal optimist. There was nothing that he wouldn't take on. No task too big, no challenge too difficult. His career speaks to that as a creative problem solver and natural entrepreneur. A mechanical engineer by education from NJIT, John founded ARS Technologies, an environmental pneumatic fracturing company where he patented a technology for decontamination of surface waste at age 34 and served as President of that company for 24 years. In 2015, John successfully divested ARS Technologies by orchestrating a buy-out to a venture capital firm. John also founded two environmental supply companies Aardvark Packers and Hepure Technologies which he presently owned and operated.
John also had a passion for revitalizing and redeveloping real estate properties. Over the course of his life, he owned and cleaned up 2 large contaminated industrial sites, one residential property and he and his wife Stephanie Liskowitz owned and rehabbed 12 residential properties locally. It is rare with such professional accomplishments as these, that an individual can achieve even greater personal impact. But there is no doubt that John's broad ability to connect with people, his loyalty and tremendous generosity, leaves behind an even greater personal legacy. He LOVED golfing and boating and was commonly seen coaching his beloved daughter Ashley at his golf club, Metedeconk. John instilled his warm personality, work ethic and good hearted nature in his daughter Ashely who he adored and is a Sophomore at University of South Carolina. With the loss of his younger brother Michael in 2022, John also assumed the role of father to his niece and nephew, Paige and Ryan Liskowitz. John leaves behind his wife of 25 years, Stephanie Liskowitz, beloved daughter Ashley Liskowitz, parents John and Freda Liskowitz, sister-in-law Martine Liskowitz, niece and nephew Ryan and Paige Liskowitz and dearest niece Katarzyna Kosarska and daughter Hanna. But most of all, he leaves his family and friends with a wealth of memorable moments, experiences and certainly a richer life because he was in it. There was no better husband, father, partner and friend than John Jude Liskowitz and his spirit will be forever with us.
John born February 8, 1965, passed on March 11, 2023, in an ER in Tampa, FL with his wife Stephanie, daughter Ashley and dozens of friends by his side. John and Stephanie reside in Manasquan, NJ and Hypoluxo, FL. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, March 17, 2023, from 3-7 PM at Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan, NJ, with a Celebration of Life to be held Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 12:30 pm at Due Amici Restaurant in Brielle.
