John Bowden Oliver, Jr.
Bossier City – John was born February 18, 1943 in Birmingham, AL and went to be with the Lord on October 28, 2022. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. John was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Donna Rodgers Oliver and his parents John B. and Mildred S. Oliver of Birmingham, AL.
John is survived by his son, Jeff Oliver and wife Jamie, grandchildren Hailey, Hannah, Kaden, and Greyson of Castle Rock, CO and numerous relatives. Private graveside services will be held at the Plain Dealing cemetery on November 6, 2022 at 2PM.
The family would like to thank Nancy Ambrose, and the physicians and nursing staff at Willis-Knighton Bossier Health Center.
Memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, TN

We lost a good one. John was a good man & former neighbor in Carriage Oaks. Did not hear from him at Christmas & was afraid of that. We enjoyed a great trip to Disney World with John, Donna & Jeff. John will be missed!
