John Osmolak, 49, of Plainfield, Illinois, passed away on May 24, 2025. Born on December 21, 1975, in Woodridge, John was the beloved son of the late Marie and Raymond Osmolak.
A proud graduate of North Central College, John built a successful career at OSI in Aurora, where he was known for his dedication, integrity, and warm spirit. Beyond his professional life, John was a devoted father and friend.
He is survived by his cherished sons, Owen and Gavin Osmolak, who were the center of his world. John found his greatest joy in spending time with his boys-whether cheering on their favorite teams, attending games, or simply enjoying each other's company. A passionate Chicago sports fan, John's love for the Bears, Bulls, Cubs, and Blackhawks was infectious and unwavering.
John is also survived by his loving sister, Anna Tigue, and her husband, Narva Tigue and their sons who will remember him for his humor, loyalty, and the bond they shared.
John's legacy is one of love and laughter - to his family, his friends, and his community especially his supplier partner family as he was the "Meat Man". He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. For those that knew him, John's famous words.... "GO BEARS!"
A celebration of John's life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his memory to Ronald McDonald House Charities: https://rmhc.org/
