"Don" retired as a manager for the former B. Green Wholesale Grocery business and then worked for Dash In as a Regional Manager until 2005. He loved his family, sports and his dog Bella. In his earlier years, he loved coaching slow pitch softball.
Don is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Linda; two daughters, Donna LaFrance (Greg) of Salisbury and Dianne Fromal (Billy) of Littleton, NC; one son, John Revel Jr (Wendy) of Salisbury. Grandchildren Gregory and Trevor LaFrance and John Revel III and Brooklyn Revel all of Salisbury, Logan Smith and Elliott Smith of Littleton, NC; Barrett Fromal of Gloucester, VA and 2 great-grandchildren Lennox and Azalea.
In addition to his parents, "Don" was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Slate and brother, Charles Revel Sr.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 10:00 am at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
Don was a character and wanted his obituary to read as follows "He Gone."

My deepest Condolences to all... Don was a wonderful person.. I remember him but my Mom Mom Betty and my mom Debbie always had much love for him and Doris.
