John William Rogers

John William Rogers, 70, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on December 18, 2025. He was born in Cynthiana, Kentucky on July 16, 1955, to William and Sue (Denniston) Rogers. He graduated from Harrison County High School in 1973 and obtained a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Cincinnati in 1979.

John practiced architecture in Cincinnati for over 40 years, specializing in healthcare architecture. He was awarded a Fellowship of the AIA (American Institute of Architects) after decades of service and leadership at local, state, and national levels. John was also a founding member and Fellow of the ACHA (American College of Healthcare Architects).

John is survived by his wife of 43 years, Cheryl Rogers, of Cincinnati, Ohio. His children Daniel (Holly), Matthew (Kara), and Lisa (Shane) plus 6 grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother James Rogers (Helen) and their children, Sean and Brianna.

A Memorial Service will be held at Journey Community Church at 6997 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 10:00am. Lunch will be provided in the Fellowship Hall immediately following the service. Memorial donations can be made in John's name to either The Cincinnati and Hamilton County Public Library or OrigamiUSA.
