My memories of John go way back to my child hood. I saw John more like a "Daniel Boone". He without question was in love with nature and all it had to offer. He and my father remained close over all these years even with a great distance between them. Several years ago he had made hiking staffs for my two brothers and I of which we will always charish. May our Lord comfort the family through the out coming months. We will continue to hold you in our prays. Your family in Ohio.

Again I am distressed to learn of John's death so soon after your mothers. I met them both at the Rorrer Reunion and also John and I took a trip to West Virginia to find the grave of John Henry Rorrer, Jr. and mark it with a proper monument. I will miss seeing him and know the family will also. My condolences. Tom Rorrer

Elizabeth,
My heart goes out to you and your family. Although it's been many years since I saw your parents, I remember them both very well. May God comfort you during this most difficult time.
Your friend always,
Liz

Elizabeth and family. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort. I can not imagine losing both of my parents so close together much less the same month. I did not know your Mom, but did have the opportunity to meet your Dad at the Rorrer Reunions in Vesta, Va., each Labor Day weekend. I live in FL now and would be interested in communicating with you via email or face book. Please contact me.
