John L. Rosinski, 72, of Mountain Trail, Sunbury, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 5, 2025, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
John was born on May 16, 1952, the son of the late John J. Rosinski and Jean T. Rosinski (Kowalewski), survived by his beloved wife Cathia M Rosinski (Giorgini), his brother Paul Rosinski and sister-in-law Susan Rosinski (McNichol), his three children: sons John and Adam Rosinski, daughter Stephanie Myers, his daughter-in-law Amy Rosinski, son-in-law Matt Myers, and his cherished grandchildren: John, Jacob, Caleb, Andrew, Maggie, and Anthony.
John graduated from Mount Carmel High School in 1970. He earned his pharmacy degree from Duquesne University and was a proud member of the 1973 National Championship football team. In 2004, he was honored with his induction into the Duquesne University Hall of Fame.
For over 45 years, John served his community as a trusted and compassionate Pharmacist. He was beloved by his customers, not only for his professional care but also for his kindness.
He was a longtime member of St. Monica Catholic Church in Sunbury and an active member of the Knights of Columbus. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, he was affectionately known as "JaJa."
A visitation will be held on Monday, May 12, from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at St. Monica Catholic Church, 109 Market Street, Sunbury. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m., celebrated by Rev. Jerome Kleponis.
Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Elysburg.
Arrangements are by the Blank Funeral Home, 395 State Street, Sunbury.
