It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of John Rudniak, age 82, who departed this life on April 27, 2025.
Born on April 16, 1943, in Detroit, MI, John lived a life full of grace, strength, and compassion. He was known for his kind heart and unwavering support for those around him.
John was a veteran serving in the US Army. He enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, and taking care of his wife's horse, Quervo. He and Susan also volunteered for Smokey Mountain Park Bugle Corp., educating visitors about the elk. Whether through his work or simply his warm presence and thoughtful words, he made the world a better place every single day.
John is survived by his loving wife Susan A. Rudniak and his stepdaughter Amanda Wallen (David) of Florida. One sister, Susan Harlow of Florida, along with a niece and nephew in Michigan.
The family will receive friends to celebrate John's life Monday, May 5th, 2025, from 2:00 until 4:00 at Smoky Mountain Cremations and Funeral Service. All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend.
