My husband and I would meet John and Jody at dance parties with the Southern Rhapsody Dance Society and the Bobby Layne Orchestra in the decades of 2010 through about 2016 or later. We corresponded via email for several years until 2023. Last week at a dance party in Dubuque IA, we reminisced with friends from the old SRDS dance parties. I recalled that I had not heard from Jody in quite a while, so I goggled John's name and found his obituary. If someone reading this memory has contact with Jody, would you please let her know that Paul Bicknell and Liz Post from Topeka KS send their condolences for her loss of John and our very best wishes for her. I think of them often. They were wonderful dancers and we enjoyed their company at many of the venues. Best Regards, ~ Liz Post, Topeka KS.
