John Frederick "Fred" Trachsel, aged 92, peacefully passed away on July 18, 2025, in Hendersonville, North Carolina. Born on April 2, 1933, in Helena, Missouri, Fred lived a life marked by dedication to faith, family, and community.

Fred's journey through life was one of service and compassion. He devoted his career to roles as a Marriage Counselor, Pastor, and Teacher, touching countless lives with his wisdom and guidance. His deep commitment to the spiritual well-being of others was cultivated during his studies at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he earned a Master of Divinity degree.

Throughout his life, Fred was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Hendersonville, where his presence was cherished by those who knew him. Prior to residing in Hendersonville, Fred also called Detroit, Michigan, and his birthplace of Helena, Missouri, home.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 53 years, Beryl; one child; his father, Oscar Trachsel; his mother, Irene Trachsel; and his brother, Dale.

A funeral service to honor Fred's life will be held at 2:00 o'clock p.m. on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at the First Baptist Church of Hendersonville, with Pastor Steve Scoggins officiating.

Fred will be remembered for his unwavering faith, gentle spirit, and the profound impact he had on all who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in eternal peace.
