Caroline Ann Trachsel, 84, of New Philadelphia, passed away peacefully in Divine Healthcare at New Philadelphia on June 21, 2025.
Born in Dover on September 29, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Ivor Earl and Thelma Mae (Harper) Penrod.
After graduating from New Philadelphia High School, Caroline served for numerous years at the Tuscarawas County Home as an STNA.
She is survived by her children including Connie Reynolds of Canton, Crystal (Butch) Maxwell of Uhrichsville, Cindy Bake of Midvale, and Carla (Roy) Dowdell of Dover; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Caroline was preceded in passing by her daughter, Cathy Trachsel; son-in-law, Steven Reynolds; and siblings, Sandra Grasselli and Judy Penrod.
A private graveside service will be held in Evergreen Burial Park.
Memorial contributions in Caroline’s memory may be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice.
