It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John H. Weber, of Pewaukee, who peacefully ended his battle with metastatic melanoma on Friday, August 22, 2025 at Angel’s Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc at the age of 83. John was born on August 1, 1942 in Milwaukee, the son of John H. and Vivian (nee McNew) Weber, Sr. On October 6, 1973, he married the former Sherry Smith in Elm Grove, WI. John served in the U.S. Army from 1961-1964 as a field radio repairman and sharpshooter. In his free time from his life-long career in Data Management (I.T.), he was an avid Ham Radio operator and communicated with other Ham operators throughout the world. He enjoyed spending winters in Ft. Myers Beach, FL for over 20 years with his wife, sister and brother-in-law.
John will be dearly missed and is survived by his beloved wife Sherry of 52 years, his loving daughter Jeannette O’Toole, his adoring grandson Dr. Sean (Dr. Taylor Williams) O’Toole, his cherished sister Roberta (Richard) Werning, brother Melvin Weber, sister-in-law Babbs Dahms, many nieces, nephews, as well as close friends all of whom he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Rick Weber.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:30 a.m. funeral service at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave. Waukesha. Burial will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in John’s name are appreciated to Melanoma Research Alliance online at www.curemelanoma.org/tribute or mail to 730 15th St, NW, 4th Floor, Washington, DC 20005 (please indicate that the gift is in memory of your loved one).
