"J" Johnathan Chaney, II, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2025 in Shelbyville, Kentucky.
He was a 2014 graduate of Anderson County High School. He loved gaming & music, and his favorite color was purple. J considered himself as the Joker and his wife, Amber, as Harley.
He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Barbara Conway, Sue Bowman; and his grandfather, Bruce Walker.
J is survived by his mother and step-father, Trish & Todd Humphrey; his father, Johnathan Chaney I; his wife, Amber Chaney; his kids, Aiden, Tayleigh, Emma; his siblings, Brittany Woods (Michael), Whittany Powell (Johnathan), Torie Riley (Josh), Leslie Humphrey (Paige), Julian Humphrey; his grandfathers, Floyd Aldridge (Marti), Sam Chaney (Millie); his best friend, Ben Boggs; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at the Shannon Funeral Home in Shelbyville, Kentucky. Visitation will be held from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
