Jon Appleget, age 61, of Columbus, Nebraska, passed away on June 24, 2025. He was born on February 24, 1964, in Fremont, Nebraska, to Jon and Shirley (Whittaker) Appleget.
Jon is survived by his wife, Mary; his sons, Eliot Appleget and Ian Appleget; as well as many other relatives and a wide circle of friends and musical collaborators.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, from 6:30 to 10 p.m., with a formal remembrance service beginning at 8 p.m., at The Acreage, located at 563 Country Road L, Palmyra, Nebraska.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for future designation.
