Jon Michael Baker, beloved son of Matthew and Annalyn Baker, was born on December 23, 2024, in Jackson, Tennessee. He made a brief yet impactful entry into this world and passed away on the same day in Jackson, leaving behind a profound reflection of love and family.
During his fleeting time, Jon Michael was surrounded by the warmth of his family, who cherished every moment with him. He is survived by his parents, Matthew and Annalyn Baker of Finger, TN, as well as his maternal grandparents, Michael and Amala Harvill of Michie, TN, and paternal grandparents, Jon and Camille Baker of Saginaw, TX. Jon Michael was also blessed to have the enduring legacy of his great-grandparents; on his maternal side, Larrie and Carolyn Harvill and Anna Rainwater, all of Michie, TN, and on his paternal side, Gary and Mary Thomas and Mary Baker, all of Ft. Worth, TX.
In addition, Jon Michael is mourned by four aunts—Addie Hinds and her husband Will, Abby Baker, Katie Baker, and Rebecca Baker—who will carry his memory close to their hearts. He also holds a special place in the lives of family friends Gracie and Jackson Robinson, who continue to provide their unfailing support and love.
Jon Michael's legacy, although short, serves as a poignant reminder of the fragility of life and the deep connections we share with our loved ones. He will forever remain in the hearts of those who anticipated his birth, a symbol of hope and cherished moments that will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of being part of his story.
He joins his departed maternal great-grandfather, Rex Rainwater, and paternal great-grandfather, Darrel Allen Baker, resting in eternal peace.
