Jon Ippoliti Obituary

Jon Ippoliti, age 72, of Canton, GA passed away Sunday, April 17, 2022 at Northside Hospital Cherokee.
Mr. Ippoliti worked for the State of New York for 37 years and was a member of the CSEA Union. He was an avid Yankees and Giants fan. Jon enjoyed working on cars, loved dogs and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Ippoliti; parents, John and Julia Ippoliti; and sister, Joan Hillbourne. Jon is survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda M. Ippoliti; daughter, Laura Ippoliti Sterling (John); son, Timothy Ippoliti; three grandchildren, Kaylee Sterling, Samantha Sterling and Declan Ippoliti; brother, Jeff Ippoliti; sister, Janet Oliver; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday May 11, 2022 at 9 am at Our Lady of Mt Carmel Roman Catholic Church, 39 St. John Street, Amsterdam, NY 12010 with the Very Rev. O. Robert DeMartinis V. F. Celebrant. Burial will follow in the family plot of St. Mary's Cemetery, Galway, NY.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
