Jon D. Stemple age 51 of Painesville, passed away May 29, 2025. He was the beloved husband for over 26 years of Dee Dee (nee Fish) and proud father of Dylan and Jordan Stemple. Jon was the loving son of John (deceased) and Crystal (nee Thompson) and dear brother of Jackie Passerell and he was a friend of many.
Jon enjoyed watching the Chicago Cubs, listening to Jimmy Buffet, coaching his children's sports teams as they grew up, singing karaoke but most of all he loved spending time with his family and loved ones.
A celebration of Jon's life will be held at a later date.
Although flowers and tree plantings are nice gestures, the family would appreciate memorial contributions be made to their GoFundMe account to offset medical expenses and support Dee Dee in her new life. https://gofund.me/e280a3cd

Jon and I were in the same graduating class at RHS (1992). If anyone had a reason to be down about life's circumstances, it was Jon. But he never did. He always had a positive outlook on life for as long as I knew him. Jon was an inspiration to everyone who ever knew him.
I pray for his loved ones and friends at this time. Jon will be missed. What a legacy he has left us. Joy instead of sorrow, determination instead of giving up and a man who thought of others before himself.
