Jordan Arthur Ulmer

Jordan Arthur Ulmer passed away February 26, 2024 at the age of 30. He was born in Detroit on May 15, 1993; son of Roger W. and Susan K. Ulmer. Jordan graduated from Grosse Pointe North High School in 2011 and received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering – Computer Science Degree from the University of Michigan in 2021. His degree enabled him to excel at his job with Systems Integration Specialists Company, Inc. (SISCO).
Jordan was involved with sports all of his life. He played varsity football and baseball at Grosse Pointe North, but also made time to play the upright bass in the orchestra at North. At Michigan, he was a 4- year starter for the rugby team. In 2015, Jordan was selected to be part of the Michigan rugby team that played in the Intercollegiate Rugby Championship in Philadelphia. After college, Jordan continued playing rugby with the Michigan Rugby Football Team.
Jordan was a member of First English Lutheran Church where he played in the Bell Choir and was always available to help with a variety of service projects. He had a love for games including board games, cards and video games. In his spare time he lifted weights and tinkered with computers and his Jeep Liberty. He enjoyed spending Michigan summers at the family cottage and making bon fires in his own back yard. Jordan was always available to help family and friends when needed. He will be remembered for his quick wit and warm smile. He will be truly missed by everyone that knew him.
Jordan is survived by his loving parents Roger and Sue Ulmer and his brother David R. Ulmer. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jordan will lie instate on Saturday, March 2 from 1:00 pm until the time of his Funeral Service at 3:00 pm at First English Evangelical Lutheran Church, 800 Vernier Rd, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236.
