Jordon Jeffrey Strauser, 33, of Sullivan, Missouri passed away Monday, April 15, 2025 at his home unexpectedly. Born on October 22, 1991, in Des Peres, Missouri, to Jeffrey and Kristina (Falloon) Strauser, Jordon accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior as a boy and was baptized in the faith by his grandfather, Rev. Dick Hinson on June 1, 2003. He was a lover of people and friend to all who knew him.
Jordon's early years were spent in Sullivan, where he grew up and attended school. His passion for sports was evident from a young age; he loved wrestling and took great pride in playing football during his senior year. A proud graduate of Sullivan High School in 2010, Jordon's determination and spirit were admired by his classmates and teachers alike.
After graduation, Jordon embarked on a career that was as adventurous as his personality. He initially worked as a union commercial roofer, a job that taught him the value of hard work and resilience. His career path led him to Holland LP, where he traveled extensively across the United States, embracing the freedom and experiences that came with each new location. Eventually, Jordon found his place with CSX Railroad, an opportunity that allowed him to enjoy the comforts of being closer to home. Outside of work, his family always found amusement with his attention to his "cool look" despite his blue-collar work life.
Jordon's personal life was as rich and full as his professional endeavors. He met the love of his life, Ashley Desmond, and together they dreamed of a future filled with love and companionship. Their plans to marry the following year were a testament to their deep bond and shared vision for a life of happiness. Jordon also found great joy in embracing the role of father to Spencer, a responsibility he undertook with love and dedication.
An adventurous spirit, Jordon's interests were vast and varied. He had a particular fondness for playing golf, a sport that allowed him to bask in the outdoors he so loved. His relationship with his cousin, Brandon, was akin to that of brothers. Together, they shared countless adventures, from disc golf and paintball to mountain biking and the hilarity of slip'n'slide kickball. These moments, filled with laughter and camaraderie, were the threads that wove the fabric of Jordon's life.
Those who knew Jordon would describe him as adventurous, friendly, and intelligent. His adventurous nature led him to seek out new experiences, his friendly demeanor drew people to him, and his intelligence shone in his thoughtful conversations and problem-solving abilities. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Jordon is survived by his fiancée, Ashley Desmond and son, Spencer; his parents, Jeff and Kris Strauser of Sullivan, MO; his sister, Kylie Kitchen and husband, Nathan of Sullivan; grandparents, Reverend Dick and Sue Hinson of St. Clair, MO and Gary and Donna Falloon of Texas; aunts and uncles: Alan Falloon of Bourbon, MO, Autumn Bliss and husband, Jim, Joshua Hinson and wife, Nicole, Elizabeth Humphrey and husband, Bobby all of St. Clair, Kayt Meek and husband, Cory of St. Louis, MO, Shelly Dierking and husband, Jack of St. Clair, Lisa Currie of Kansas City, MO, Becky Daugherty and husband, Hoot of Sullivan, Natalie Bell of Springfield, MO and Kristen Frigo of Sullivan; and numerous cousins, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Carol (Misemer) Frigo and an aunt, Stephanie Falloon.
