Jose Raul Avellanet, 63 of Connellsville died Friday March 17, 2023 at his residence. He was born February 13, 1960 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico a son of the late Dionicio and Bautista Gonzalez Avellanet. Jose was employed in the Dry Wall business for many years. Jose loved spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed nature, fishing and gardening. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Tracie Lint and a son, Jose Avellanet, Jr. and father-in-law, Charles Robert Lint. He is survived by his brothers, Arcadio Arcelay and Manuel Arcelay; sister, Ada Williams; his sons, Jose Avellanet, Gil Avellanet, Daniel Avellanet, David Avellanet and Dionicio Avellanet; his grandchildren, Dominic Richter, Curtis Avellanet, Naomi Avellanet, Jordan Ricks, Emanuel Avellanet and Anna Avellanet; his mother and father-in-law, Janet and Clyde Martz of South Connellsville; mother-in-law. Catherine Lint of Mount Pleasant; two brothers-in-law, Robert Lint and daughter Chloe and Robert Martz and wife Debora and children, Nichole and Sean. As per the wishes of the family there will be no viewing or services. All arrangements are under the direction of the Brooks Funeral Home, Inc., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville.
