Mr. Brand is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Brand; sons, Joey Brand, Michael Brand; grandchildren, Josh (Destiny) Brand, Jake (Skye) Brand, Beau (Isabella) Brand, Tyler Brand, Kaysan Brand; great-grandchildren, Amelia, Margo, Basil, Fiona, Turner; brother, Rodney (Elaine) Brand; as well as numerous other family and friends.
Terry attended Forest Park High School, where he met his wife Mary, and some of his lifelong friends. Shortly before graduating, he was drafted into the United States Marine Corps. During his service, he was sent to Cuba, and Vietnam, where he proudly served his country. After 2 years of foreign service, he returned home where he started his career at the Ford Assembly Plant in Hapeville, Georgia, while concurrently working numerous other jobs to provide for his family. Terry was always a hard worker, and was very proud of the jobs he held, specifically working at the original Chick-fil-a in his youth under Truett Cathy. Outside of his work life, he also attended Clayton State University, and spent time coaching little league baseball, where he even had the opportunity to coach some of his grandsons. Terry loved his family, and after his retirement from Ford in 2007 he spent much of his time fishing, and spending time outdoors with his children and grandchildren. He loved Mary with his whole heart, and he was a true family man. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, April 28, 2025, at Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors with Pastor Steve Shivers officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday April 27, 2025, from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors.
