Joseph Kemp Gomoljak

In loving memory of Joseph Kemp Gomoljak, a cherished resident of Annapolis, Maryland, who passed away at the age of eighty. Joseph, affectionately known as Joe to his friends and loved ones, was a man of remarkable skills and passions that defined his rich and fulfilling life.
Born and raised in Annapolis by Katherine and Joseph G. Gomoljak, Joe graduated from Annapolis High School in 1964. He was not only a gifted contractor known for his craftsmanship and dedication to building but also a man drawn to adventure, particularly the allure of the water. Joe embodied the spirit of a seasoned boat captain, navigating the waters with confidence and true enthusiast of maritime life. His love for the tranquility of nature led him to become an accomplished hunter, creating enduring memories during his expeditions.
However, Joe's devotion extended beyond his personal pursuits. He dedicated a lifetime to serving the community through his involvement with the American Legion Post 7, Elks Club of Annapolis, South County Businessmen's Association, and his role as the past president of South County Lions Club.
Joe shared an extraordinary fifty-nine years of marriage with his wife, Robin Gomoljak. Their shared passion for travel took them to various Caribbean Islands and throughout Europe, creating countless cherished moments. He is survived by Robin, their son Travis, and his wife Christi Gomoljak, and their two grandchildren, Lily and James.
In addition to his immediate family, Joe is survived by his sister, Dianne Dodson, and her husband, Robert Dodson, their daughter Sandra Dodson, as well as his longtime best friend, Mark Sanders. Joe held a special place in his heart for his family and friends, treasuring every moment shared.
