Joe and Alvina married on May 19, 1955, and celebrated 60 years of marriage before she passed away. They moved from Milwaukee to Arkansas, then settled in Florida. They owned a cottage on Green Lake and spent much of their time boating and water skiing with family and friends. They were both avid golfers, and bowlers. Alvina also enjoyed quilting, and volunteering at the human society. Joe spent his free time cheering on the Green Bay Packers. He also believed he was the king of bocce ball.
They both had a passionate love affair with a "stiff" Tanqueray and Tonic after golf.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the team at Lakewood, and Brighton Hospice for the care given to dad over the past few years.
