Joseph "Joey" Dorminey Obituary
Joey H. Dorminey, 48, of Leesburg, GA, tragically died Friday, May 3, 2024 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at Mathews Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Joey was born in Cordele, GA, to the late Joseph and Janie Summers. He was the regional manager for Little Caesars Pizza and loved his job and work. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his friends. Most of all he loved his dogs and recently helped organize a fundraiser for the animal shelter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law Jeff Butterworth.
Survivors include his sisters, Rhonda Leigh Holt (Kenny) and Tracy Butterworth, a niece and four nephews and many dear friends.
Those desiring may make donations in memory of Joey to the Lee County Animal Shelter, 101 Mossy Dell Road Leesburg, GA 31763.
