Joseph Keener, Jr. Obituary
Joseph L. Keener Jr., age 66, of Meherrin, Virginia, passed away on August 17, 2025 at home surrounded by love, family, and prayers. He was born on December 29, 1958, to the late Joseph L. Keener Sr. and Mary Ruth Cabe Keener. He is survived by his loving wife, Angela; son, Brandon Keener, and daughter-in-law, Bridget; granddaughters, Braelynn and Brighton; and daughter, Tanya Vogan, and son-in-law, Ronnie along with his extended family Kenneth Sager, Erika, Sophia, Charlotte, and Ellie.
Joseph spent his career in the automotive and welding industries and was a devoted Christian who valued his faith and family. He was also an accomplished drag racer and an award-winning vehicle restoration expert. When he wasn’t twisting wrenches or helping someone, you could often find a fishing rod in his hands.
