Joseph B. Kempker, 90, of Bonnots Mill passed away on March 5, 2025. He was born in Folk, Missouri on January 21, 1935, son of the late Henry and Gesina (Toebben) Kempker. He married Cecilia Wieberg on April 8, 1961, in St. Anthony, Missouri.
Joe worked for Tompkin Implement (Eldon), Missouri Builders, Kempker Roofing, and All Spec Roofing. He enjoyed spending his time in the great outdoors. He loved fishing, hunting, and boating on the Osage and Missouri River. He also enjoyed playing cards and going dancing with his beautiful wife. Most of all he enjoyed his time he got to spend with his family.
Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Cecilia; children, Ronnie Kempker (Lisa), Richard Kempker (Darla), Daniel Kempker (Angie), Donna Sanford (Randy); brother, Bernard Kempker. He is preceded in death by his siblings, Sylvester Kempker (Marie), Clarence Kempker (Gertrude), Edward Kempker (JoAnn), Herbert Kempker (Helen), Lawrence Kempker (Dolly), Melvin Kempker (Lorraine), Raymond Kempker (Cecilia), Wilford Kempker (Jean), Harry Kempker (Evelyn), Vernita Woehr (Joe), Angeline Maasen (Leo), and Genny Rose Glauson (Ed).
Friends and family will be received 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at Our Lady Help of Christians in Frankenstein, Missouri with Mass of Christian following at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Colin P. Franklin as celebrant.
