Shirley Ann (Cramer) Bracken, 79, of Chamois, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 18, 2025. She was born on June 2, 1946, in Chamois, to the late Joseph and Clara (Benson) Cramer.

On November 29, 1969, Shirley was united in marriage to David Bracken in Chamois. She worked for the State of Missouri at the Department of Revenue for over 40 years, where she was a dedicated and valued employee.

Shirley enjoyed spending time at Nolte Hill Nursery, caring for her beloved grandchildren, and cherishing her dogs-Bennett, Letty, Cali, and Smores-as well as her cats. She also loved cooking and sharing her meals with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of the home; sister, Carol Walling (Bob) of Chamois; her grandchildren, Chelsey Peiter (Josh) of St. James, Corey Bracken of Chamois, Madison Bracken (Blaine) of Chamois, and Wylon Bracken of St. James; and her great-grandchildren, Carlee Peiter, Adilynn Peiter, and Beau Peiter.

She was preceded in death by her daughters, Lisa Garrett (James) and Joy Bracken.

Friends and family will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Millard Family Funeral Chapel in Linn, Missouri. Service will follow at 12:00p.m. with burial at Ferguson Cemetery in Chamois.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the donor's choice.
