Joseph P. Kovacs

Joseph P. Kovacs, 73, of Salisbury Twp., passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospice House in Bethlehem. He and his wife, Heidi A. (Klimm) Kovacs, celebrated 40 years of marriage this past June 1. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Joseph F. and Mary (Zatko) Kovacs. He was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Allentown and was a graduate of Dieruff High School, L.C.C.C. and Muhlenberg College. Joe retired from Mack Trucks, after 18 years of service, as a production technician. He previously was employed as a purchasing agent for the former Bethlehem Steel Corporation for 24 years. Joe loved to go fishing and trips to Atlantic City with his family.

Survivors: Wife, Heidi; Sons, Jason Kovacs and his wife, Therese, and Kevin Kovacs; and 3 Grandchildren, Carson, Connor and Calina.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 13, 2025, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1040 Flexer Ave., Allentown, PA 18103. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 17th & Hamilton Streets, Allentown and from 12 to 1 p.m. on Saturday in the church. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery, Wescosville.
