Joseph Miley, age 78, of Alliance, Ohio, passed away on October 18, 2025. He was born on September 2, 1947, in Akron, Ohio, to Charles and Martha (Davis) Miley, who predeceased him.
A graduate of Rootstown High School, Joseph continued his education at Kent State University, laying a foundation for his successful career. He was the former owner/operator of a pest control business and later worked in the sales department of Pest Solutions in Mansfield. Throughout his career, Joseph demonstrated his dedication to quality service and building relationships with his clients.
Joseph was an active resident at Canterbury Villa, where he immersed in various activities. His involvement in the theater productions and the Garden Club showcased his vibrant spirit and creativity. Additionally, as President of the Resident Council, he exemplified leadership and a commitment to his community. His love for card games, especially poker, brought joy not only to himself but to those around him.
Joseph is survived by his three daughters, Cindy Starcher, Becky (Bill) Crago, and Abby (Jay) Williams, along with ten cherished grandchildren: Bradley, Katrina, David, Kevin, Jenna, Elijah, Anna, Olivia, Zack, and Michah. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will remain in the hearts of all who knew him. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son Ben Bowers and a grandson Andrew.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025 at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown funeral home in Sebring at 3:00 PM with a time of gathering the hour prior to the service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
