Pfeifer, Joseph T. age 82 of Mpls passed away on 4/4/2025 at Catholic Eldercare. Born in Minneapolis to Clarence & Virginia Pfeifer. Graduate of Resurrection grade school and DeLaSalle H.S. and St. Thomas College with a degree in business. Joe later got his masters degree at Mankato State University. Proud U.S. Navy Vet and served in Viet Nam. During his time in Saigon, he helped Priests at an orphanage in Vung Tau. Joe's first job was with the I.R.S. and later he opened his own practice at North Suburban Income Tax & Accounting, Mounds View MN. Over the years he volunteered at Catholic Organizations, Prayer Groups, and administered the May Day Rosary Processions in St. Paul for many years. His passion was helping others as a servant of Jesus and Mary. He loved fishing all over Minnesota and Wisconsin. He led a group to Europe to visit Marian Shrines and holy sites.
Preceded in death by parents, Clarence & Virginia Pfeifer, brother Robert; and brother-in-law William E. Bennett; cousins Fred Coller, Jed Coller and Carole Kusienski; survived by sister, Virginia Bennett and cousins, Lorraine Joan (Mike) Boyle, Cece (Ralph) Arrigoni, Joan Hansen, Judy (Ed) Matonich; JoAnn Coller; nephews, Paul, William M. (Annika), & John (Julie) Bennett; other loving relatives and friends including the Religious at the Lake Elmo Carmelite Monastery and Hermitage.
In Lieu of flowers memorials preferred to the Catholic Eldercare Foundation, Lake Elmo Carmelite Monastery or Carmelite Hermitage.
