I am saddened to read about Dr Rowe's death. From 1976-80 I was one of those SHSU students who used his gym in his Garage. After I left Huntsville and went onto my career in life, I would stop by to visit and work out in that gym, Dr Rowe was always so nice.
About 5 years ago I wrote him a letter saying he was one of the good influences in my life for my fitness and for always staying healthy & fit. that was all because of his gym he let me use for 4 years. I never heard back from him.....I hope he got my letter to know how much I appreciated him

I am sadden by the fact I didn't get to see you the last time I was at Texas AM. Tommy, I know Joe was an exceptional brother and scholar. Accept my wishes for peace and solidarity in Christ. Now Joe is in heaven with my dad Joseph Sr. Love from Cousin Bob in Wyoming.

Tom & Donna & family-I'm so sorry to hear about Joe. He was such a wonderful neighbor for so many years. Every time I drive by his house I wondered how he was doing since he moved near you. I used to see him at restaurants & we would have good visits. My children loved to excercise in his gym. He will be missed.
