Joseph A. "Joe" Ruzzano

76, formerly of Lincoln, RI, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2023, surrounded and supported by his loving family.
Joseph was born on October 13, 1946, to the late Luigi and Angela Ruzzano of Cranston, RI. He was a graduate of Cranston East High School. Joseph was the owner and operator of JR's Hair Styling in Lincoln, RI and Hair Systems Family Salon in North Providence, RI. He was in the industry for over 50 years, achieving many awards & certifications.
Joseph had many passions & talents, one being music, including playing the guitar and singing in multiple choirs. Joseph was an avid cook, always passing down recipes to family & friends. He loved art, he spent his free time sketching & drawing. A beloved father, grandfather, community volunteer and friend.
Joseph will be remembered for his great sense of humor and one liners. He loved to laugh with his family & friends. Especially his grandchildren, being known as "Grandpa Joe"; he was always a vivid storyteller for them.
He is survived by his brother, George Ruzzano of Pawtucket, RI, his four children: Anne Ruzzano of North Providence, RI, Darrin & Rebecca Ruzzano of Scituate, RI, Matthew & Kirstin Ruzzano of North Attleboro, MA and Dennis & Dena Ruzzano of Enfield, CT. He has 10 grandchildren, whom he loved and cherished: Justin, Alyssa, Gianna, Ava, Zachary, Leah, Tyler, Kate, Jaxson, & Sean.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave, Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, North Providence. Inurnment will be private.
