Joseph Sauline, age 75, passed away peacefully at home on December 7, 2024. He was born on July 3,1949 in Youngstown, Ohio. He is survived by wife Peggy and daughter Christin. Joe is survived by brothers/wives: Raymond Jr. (Carol) Sauline and Emeric (Charlene) Zuccaro. Nieces/nephews: Greg (Sheree), Ryan, Nick Sauline, Keith (Kristi), Brynn and Kyle Sauline. Sandy Hattle, Zach (Nicole), Julia, Sydney, Henry Hattle, Gerrit (Meredith) and Anneka Kitts. Sister/Brother-in-law Ande (Reece) Prather.
Joseph graduated from Youngstown State with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. He was a member of Delta Eta Fraternity. Joe began his long career in banking with Hub Federal, Society and KeyBank. He retired from Commerce National Bank 2016.
He dedicated his service to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church including Chairman of the Building committee, Finance and "Bring a turkey to church" every Thanksgiving for 25 yrs. Due to the gracious giving of the church members, thousands of turkeys and financial donations benefited the Community Kitchen and surrounding areas of St. John Holy Rosary and St. Dominic Churches. As well as served on the Board of Directors at the Community Kitchen.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 am Friday, December 13th at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church where visitation will be held prior to the mass from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Westerville Special Olympics (https://westervillespecialolympics.com/) or
Columbus Canine Companions (https://canine.org/location/north-central/chapter/buckeye-volunteer-chapter/).
