Joseph was born on Long Island, New York and was the son of Joseph Sauro, Sr and Millie LaBarca, and the younger brother of Joan and Richard. He grew up in New Hyde Park, NY and graduated from Herricks High School in 1972. He had many successful ventures throughout his life, but was best known for his Hulk Towing business in Long Island, New York.
Remaining to cherish Joseph's memory are his children: Joseph Sauro(Amy), Anthony Sauro(Mattie), Angelo Sauro, Carmine Sauro and Kathy Jo Fedder(John); Grandchildren: Joseph, Carmine, Jacqueline, Skylar, Isabella, Carmine, Lilliana, Guy, Elizabeth, Gino; Great grandchildren: Sophia, Joseph, Maya and Derek; his life long best friend, Wayne McGraw and the McGraw Family; his partner, Carol Weaver and the Weaver Family; The late Joan Gaglio and the Gaglio Family and the late Richard Chuisano and the Chuisano Family.
Joseph was a man greatly loved, respected and admired throughout all phases of his life. A true gentle giant. The void he left will never be filled, but the influence he left everywhere he went will live on forever through his family and friends. Your children and their families will miss you terribly forever.
