Joseph E. Styrczula, beloved husband of the late Theresa nee Latanski; loving father of Terese Polniak, Kenneth Star, Karen (Edward) Grzywacz, and the late Joseph; cherished grandfather of Anthony Jr. (Jill) Polniak, Bradley (Jess) Grzywacz, Dana Grzywacz, Kristen Grzywacz, Nicole Vennetti, and Matthew Grzwacz; great – grandfather of Will Polniak; dearest brother of Richard (Teresa) Styrczula , late Emily Styrczula and the late Irene Styrczula; also nieces and nephews.

Joe cherished the time he spent with his family and had a true love for watching sports and the polka. Known for having a mind sharper than most, he remained endlessly curious about the world around him and the happenings in the lives of those he loved. Affectionately called "Starchy," Joe was deeply engaged in the lives of his family, and being part of those moments was his greatest source of pride and joy.

In 1952, Joe proudly served his country as a sergeant in the Korean War-an experience that stayed with him and helped shape his calm strength and steady perspective throughout life.

Joe and his beloved wife, Terry, were happily married for 62 years. Together, they shared a deep passion for family and passed on strong values rooted in love, loyalty, and togetherness. Their home radiated love and kindness-a true reflection of the life they built side by side.
