Josephine was born on April 20, 1925, in Odenville, Alabama, to the late Walter Harris and Amanda Epperson Harris. She was also a proud lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star, embodying its values of charity, truth, and loving kindness. Josephine’s warmth and generosity touched many lives, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, Josephine was preceded in death by her son, Rickey Lee Aldridge, longtime friend, Earlene Webb, along with five brothers and six sisters.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter, Judy Hamilton (Dick); granddaughter, Christine White (Kevin); great-grandchildren, Kathleen Glauner (Clayton), Megan Hennessey (Hunter Sell), and Brigid Hennessey; along with many nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends.
