Josephine “Jay” M. Nesti, age 86 of Morrisville, PA passed away peacefully on Friday, May 24, 2024 at her home with her family by her side. Born in Bronx, NY, Jay and her husband lived in Morrisville since 1957.
Mrs. Nesti had been employed by Educational Testing Services where she worked in the Document Processing Department for over 35 years. She was a devoted parishioner of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Morrisville. Jay enjoyed crocheting, sewing, as well as all types of arts and crafts, but especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Daughter of the late Pasquale and Josephine (Ombres) Antolino, wife of the late Hugh W. Nesti, sister of the late Anthony Antolino, mother-in-law of the late Gary Wheeler, and great grandmother of the late Carson and Weston Nesti. She is survived by her son Hugh W. “Bill” Nesti (and Carmen Pruna) of Jamison, PA, her daughter Patricia M. “Trish” Wheeler of Westampton, NJ, a sister and brother-in-law Louise and Antonio Puoti of Bronx, NY, a sister-in-law Michelina “Micki” Antolino of Goshen, NY, six grandchildren, H. William Nesti (Victoria), Jason Nesti (Megan) Loretta Golding (Greg), Amanda Dalesandro (Adam), Ryan Wheeler (Bobbi) and Michael Wheeler, five great grandchildren Hailey Wheeler, Svea, Nora and Stella Nesti and Gregory Golding, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate her Funeral Mass at 11 AM on Monday, June 3, 2024 at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, 201 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067. Her interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
Family and friends may call Monday morning, from 9 AM – 10:30 AM, at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a memorial contribution, in Josephine’s name, to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) or to The National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa, 654 Ferry Rd., Doylestown, PA 18901 (https://czestochowa.us).
