Josephine Zachmann (nee Passalacqua) of the Erial section of Gloucester Twp., NJ passed away peacefully at home at the age of 58 years on April 18, 2023, with her family by her side after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Dearly beloved wife of John Zachmann; loving mother of Lauren Zachmann (Andres Beacochea), and Andrew Zachmann; dear sister of Vincent Passalacqua (Rose), Lia Rizzuto, and Cathy Medina (Nick). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Josephine was born in Sicily, and spent most of her childhood there, travelling to, and eventually moving permanently to the United States while in her twenties. She worked in numerous capacities for several employers in the auto sales, and hospitality industries, most recently for Winner Ford in Cherry Hill, NJ. Josephine enjoyed many arts and crafts projects and was very artistic and talented. She loved to travel and spend time on the beach. But most of all, her life was about family, and caring for the people she loved. She will be sadly missed.
Urn visitation for family and friends will be Friday, April 21, 2023, from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at the Earle Funeral Home, 122 W. Church St., Blackwood, NJ, where a Catholic prayer service will begin at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory would be appreciated to the American Lung Association at www.lung.org

I just found out about Josephine's passing. I am terribly saddened by this news. I worked with Josie for quite a while at Mt. Ephraim Dodge. She was a very nice woman. Thoughts and prayers with her family. RIP, Josie.
