Joshua D. Mark 23, of Bolivar, died Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at the University of Akron. Born September 17, 2000 in McKeesport, Pa. he was a son of Andrew C. and Theresa (Popovich) Mark of Bolivar.
Josh was a 2019 graduate of Tusky Valley High School and was currently a Senior mechanical engineering student at The University of Akron. He enjoyed golfing, was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, enjoyed video games and rock climbing and he loved to watch Sponge Bob cartoons. In 2019 Josh was a kidney recipient. His father was the donor.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother Andrew (Fiance' Abby Nagy) Mark of Canton, two Aunts. Melissa Kinsey of Dunn, North Carolina and Mary Ann Riley of Austintown, an Uncle Rich (Jan) Mark of Pa., God Father Joseph ( Fiance' Lorie Ieraci) Rimedio of Austintown and a Cousin Joseph Rimedio, Jr.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Lebold-Smith Funeral Home in Bolivar. Pastor Toni Pugh will officiate and burial will follow in Ft. Laurens Cemetery in Bolivar. Friends may call Monday from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home. To share a memory, please visit the funeral home's web site. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Trojan Foundation at P.O. Box 422, Zoar, Ohio 44656 for an athletic memorial scholarship in Josh's name.
