Sandra L. "Sandy" Mark, age 76, of Wooster, entered into rest on Monday, January 13, 2025, at Ohio's Hospice Life Care in Wooster following a brief illness. Her loving family was by her side.
Sandy was born on September 13, 1948, in Canton Ohio to William and Faye (Rutt) Trimble and has been an area resident for all of her life.
She later married Harold D. Mark on April 30, 1985, in Wooster. He entered into rest on July 21, 2002.
Sandy had previously worked for LUK Schaeffler Co. in Wooster for over 40 years before retiring in 2018. Following her retirement, she helped to provide transportation for the Amish Community.
She belonged to the Wooster Loyal Order of Moose Lodge Auxiliary and was an avid reader. She also enjoyed bowling, going to the beach with her family, jigsaw puzzles and raising her canine companions and other pets throughout the years. She mainly loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her sons, Charles "Chuck" D. (Michelle) Beckler and Don (Beth) Beckler all of Wooster and a grandson, Brock Beckler; her life-time friend, Bonnie Alfred of Lakeville, Ohio and her faithful canine companion, "Sawyer".
A Visitation of Celebration for family and friends will take place on Sunday, January 19, 2025, from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, 2284 Benden Dr., in Wooster.
A private inurnment will take place at a later date to join her beloved husband, Harold Mark at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville at the convenience of the family.
Custer-Glenn Funeral Home in Wooster is assisting the family.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to: Ohio's Hospice Life Care, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, Ohio 44691.
