Joshua A. Oliver,50, of Enfield, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on October 10, 2024. Josh was born on September 6, 1974 to Nels and Mary (King) Oliver. He was a graduate of Enfield High School class of 1993, and later obtained his CDL license. As an avid music lover, he had the unique opportunity to drive a truck for the Kiss and Motley Crue tour. He was also an avid New York Giants fan. Above all, Josh's time spent with family and close friends was what he treasured most, and they will cherish his compassionate, quiet and gentle spirit. He adored his dog Roxy and they shared many happy moments together.
In addition to his parents, Josh is survived by his stepdad, Edward Abelin; his brother, Justin Oliver and his children Curtis and Kyrin; his brother, Joel Perrier and his fiance Jillian Drinkwater and their children, Maddox, Brayden and Layla; his sister, Michelle Oliver and her partner Eric Waitkus and their children, Cameron and Michael, and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. He also leaves behind his many dear friends, Sarah Lusa and her children Tyler, Macin, and Ravin who were like his own, Scott Goyette, Gary and Erica Damato, and countless others. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Warren and Barbara King, and his paternal grandmother, Barbara Oliver.
Josh's family will receive relatives and friends for visitation from 4 to 6 pm on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd, Enfield. Visitation will close with a prayer service. For online condolences, please visit www.leetestevens.com.
