Joshua Washington

At only forty-seven years old, Joshua Washington joined his mother in Heaven Monday, June 2, 2025. He was born in Galveston, Texas on October 18, 1977. Josh was the type of person who quietly stepped in to help without a second thought. He chose to help his sister raise his beloved nieces and was always there to help with homework or whichever sport his niece Gia chose to join. Josh was a proud and loving uncle to his nieces, Judy Forasiepi and Gia Forasiepi, who truly adored him. He is survived by his father, Rick Washington, and his sister Courtney Washington, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother Judy Washington and his maternal grandparents, Ray and Marie Tyler and his paternal grandparents George and Dorothy Washington, along with his uncle Ken Beckham. His absence leaves a space that cannot be filled, but his memory will always remain close to those who loved him.
