I love you, Joy. Thank you for teaching me how to love the world, and myself, and the people around me. I suppose we never really did figure out how - except to realize that we should keep trying, and keep learning, as long as we can. I miss you and Lauren all the time. I wish we had known how to grow up together, and built a world together. Please stay with me in spirit- I'll do my best to be strong and make dreams into reality, like you always said we could.

Joy was such a light. Incredibly thoughtful, brilliant, spreading kindness wherever she went. I just know she´s in heaven, dancing ballet with the angels.
