ADDISON-Joyce Fay St. Amour, age 81, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 22, 1943, in Barbourville, Kentucky to Millard and Cleo Grant.
On September 4, 1975, Joyce married the love of her life, Robert, in her hometown of Barbourville, Kentucky. She enjoyed her work as head cook at the Ann Arbor VA hospital. Joyce's true happiness came from her love of God. She had a strong faith and has always been an active member of the church. Before moving to the area, she was a member of the Metro Baptist Church in Belleville, MI, where she served as a charter member and Sunday school teacher. Joyce was currently a member of Loomis Park Baptist Church in Jackson, MI. She was proud to be a part of The Berean Baptist and Manitou Baptist Church. As Missionaries she and Bob helped build the Gospel Light Baptist Church in South Carolina.
Those left to cherish the memory of Joyce are her husband, Robert, children, Diana Paul, Charles Paul, Kasandra St. Amour, Robert St. Amour and Craig St. Amour. brother R.W. Grant, 26 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, Preceding her in death are her daughter, Suzanne St. Amour; son, Ricky Paul; brothers; Harold, and Thomas, and her parents.
Visitation for Joyce will be Monday December 23, 2024, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Brooklyn Restoration Church in Brooklyn, MI. Funeral services will follow at 12 p.m. with Pastor Gregory Burkeen officiating. Interment will be private in Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI.
