Born in New Brunswick and raised in Edison, she lived in North Brunswick and Santa Monica, California before moving to Lakewood.
She was a homemaker before becoming a Secretary and then an Administrative Assistant.
Her husband, Solomon 'Sol' Fox died in 2001. She is also predeceased by her sons, James "Jimmy" Tarvin and Richard "Ricky" Tarvin.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Frank & Jodi Tarvin of Monmouth Junction; stepson and daughter-in-law, Richard & Jeanette Fox of South River; sisters and brother-in-law, Donna & Bob Light of Lavalette and Cathy McCann of Toms River; 6 grandchildren; Frank Tarvin Jr., Nick & Jennifer Tarvin, Kara & Matt Miller, Joseph Tarvin, Matthew & Sara Tarvin and James Spisak; 2 step grandchildren; Adam & Kelsey Fox, Emily Fox and 11 great-grandchildren.
Private cremation services have been handled under the professional direction of the Gleason Funeral Home of North Brunswick, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick.
Memorial Visitation will be held at 10 AM on Friday, June 21st at the funeral home with a Memorial Service at 11:30 AM. Committal service to follow in Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Multiple Sclerosis Association of America at engage.mymsaa.org
