Joyce Lawrance-Niemann

Joyce Lawrance-Niemann, 87, of Clarksville, IN, peacefully passed away on August 15, 2023, at home with family by her side. Known as "Nonnie" by her loved ones, she was a cherished part of her family and will be dearly missed.
She was born in Louisville, KY, on March 6th, 1936, daughter of the late Dorothy and William Haskel Watts. She is survived by her daughters, Deserree Simonson (Kenneth) and Sherri Gividen (Brian); 5 grandchildren, Sara Phipps (Donnelle), Candice Taylor- Lacey (Jaron), Erica Gividen-Walker (Jayke), Stacie Blunk (mark), Rachael Gividen; great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and family friends. She is preceded in death by her brother, James, her first husband, Henry Lawrance, and second husband, Robert Neimann.
In her earlier years, she was a skilled hairdresser and managed her own beauty salon. Once retired, she strove to be a doting grandmother and a great friend. She enjoyed laughing, going on cruises, watching classic movies, playing dominos, rook, and reminiscing about good times. She will be remembered for her loving nature, wonderful hugs, and resiliency.
Visitation will be on Friday, August 18, 2023 from 10-1pm with service to follow at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130.
