Joyce M. White

Joyce M. White, age 92, of Manchester, TN, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2025 at Unity Medical Center in Manchester, TN. She was born in Buffalo, NY on July 30, 1932.Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Gertrude Wallenberg; her husband, Kenneth C. White; and her sister, Irma Claydon. She is survived by her daughter, Bambi Tucker.From the age of 5, Joyce learned to play piano in Casper, WY, and after she became experienced, she became the pianist for local churches and would receive phone calls to come play the services they held. She also had her own business out of her home making professional wedding cakes for 20 years. Joyce was the person you would go to if you were short on time and needed a large cake, for a large crowd of people, no matter how short you were on time she was reliable and was right there to get it ready. Joyce attended Vacation Bible School in the summers and would make a nice home cooked dinner for the preachers attending the preachers hunt.
